A Calliente Adventure

So, what the fuck is wrong with people?
I think that is a legitimate question.

Yesterday, Jack and I went on an adventure. We were driving through a bad neighborhood when my car overheated, billowing smoke, which would have been cool had we been in a music video and not in the barrio in 100 degree weather. So I pull over in front of a house, and two houses down a group of drunks (literally) start shouting at us to "get the fuck outta here!" etc. etc. (which I would have loved to had we had the choice).

Meanwhile the guy whose house we were parked in front of was badass, offering to help and busting out the hose so we could cool down the engine. Maybe 10 minutes pass and one of the drunks comes over and tells us we have 15 seconds to vacate the premises, he then goes on to ask me if I'm a cop, and unloads a barrage of obscenity upon me. The homeowner steps in between us and holds the drunk back, telling him that our car had broke down and that he needed to go back to his friends.

So it's been about 20 minutes and I'm fairly comfortable that the car is cooled down by now, so I thank the guy for his help, and we're on our way. Which leads me to my previous question, "what the fuck is wrong with people?"

The manuscript for the first adventure is officially finished! I think I wanna celebrate by playing some Smash Brothers and keeping myself from going back and re-writing it.

On another note, I'm really super excited about Iron Man next week. Unfortunately, I probably can't convince anyone to go to the midnight showing with me, but TJ and I will probably go after work.

Back Log

Hey-O TJ here,

Lately we've been busting major Ass on this comic, but I have yet to hit my stride on producing 3 fresh comics a week. Yes, we are building a back log of comics so we can update consistently keeping everybody happy and shiny. Oh and what a wonderful world it will be. I know Jack is just about done scripting the first adventure and he is a bag of mixed emotions about that, "Whoo-hoo! I'm almost done! oh shit I gotta write another one of these?" Yes. Yes you do.
